ARCHIVES ACROSS SASKATCHEWAN

At the City of Saskatoon Archives, they work to preserve and provide access to the historical records of the City as well as to those of historically significant individuals and organizations. Did you know that the Saskatoon area has been inhabited for at least 8,000 years. Remnants of the past, such as teepee rings and medicine wheels, can still be seen today and form an important link with the city's history and the indigenous peoples of the province. Staff at the Saskatoon Archives will provide research assistance by post, by email, or over the telephone. Visit the archives of Saskatoon here LINK. The Archives is open to the public during business hours. Here's a LINK to a fairly comprehensive list of archives in Saskatchewan that are members of the Saskatchewan Council of Archives and Archivists. Story contains Saskatoon Archives copy.
