LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR AWARDS 2018
The 2018 Lieutenant Governor’s Heritage Awards were presented at Government House in Regina by His Honour the Honourable W. Thomas Malloy on Wednesday, June 13th. This annual event celebrates those projects that safeguard the Living Heritage of Saskatchewan. Recognition is given for the skills, knowledge and commitment that each of the building owners, designers and craftspersons, heritage workers, and creative individuals demonstrate during development and implementation of each heritage project.
In the Physical Heritage Conservation category of awards, the winners were: the Frontenac Apartments in Regina, Confederation Park and Fountain at Evraz Place in Regina, and the Khedive Heritage Recreation Centre. The Architectural Heritage Society is represented on the Adjudication Committee for these awards.
